Can a Caregiver choose to have their profile viewed by families and agencies?: Yes. The Caregiver has the choice of letting families and agencies view their profile. In this way a Caregiver may be contacted for employment by families and agencies; or families only.
Can families post a "job" advertising their need for a caregiver if a suitable caregiver does not have a profile on the site?: Yes. Families can advertise the job of taking care of their family member specify the times that help is needed and the requirements for help needed in that posting at no charge.
Can families choose to have their job posting viewed by Caregivers and Agencies?: Yes. Families can choose to have their job viewed by Caregivers and Agencies in hopes of being contacted by both regarding have their home care needs filled. Or families can choose to have their job posting only viewed by Caregivers who are seeking to be directly hired by a family.
Does HomeCareConnector.com sell the names of the users of the site?: HomeCareConnector.com does not sell the names of any of the user’s of the site.
Does HomeCareConnector.com charge for the use Families, Home Care or Hospice Agencies or Caregivers to use the site?: HomeCareConnector.com does not charge any user of the site.
Does HomeCareConnector.com screen the Caregivers on the site?: HomeCareConnector.com is a completely self-serve site. If the Caregivers use the Certi-check Criminal Background check service where a certified copy is sent to HomeCareConnector.com for review, then a profile can be certified as free of any criminal background. If someone reports a concern about a Caregiver, then a Caregiver can be removed from the site. Aside from these two measures, the users must do all of their own screening. It is highly advised that families all use every prudent measure to fully screen any Caregiver that they are considering employing. By keeping HomeCareConnector.com completely self-serve it can be maintained as a free service to users. No endorsement is made for the Caregivers on the site.
